First produced at Woodend Farm in rural Hennepin County, Minnesota, near Lake Minnetonka in 1926. The pork sausage is made from the same family recipe handed down through three generations of the Gregg Family.
The product has been produced continuously since 1926, first at Woodend Farm, and later in the mid-1930’s at Greggwood Farm near St. Bonifacius, MN. Since 2005 the product has been made in rural Wisconsin at Abbottsford.
The sausage is made from all-natural ingredients containing no chemicals, MSG, or preservatives. Only salt and natural spices are added. The product is sold frozen in retail stores, mostly in the Minneapolis, St. Paul, and suburbs and also out state Minnesota.
